[9 in the dark] is a webcomic by artist peachy_lili.

unlike my YouTube art, which is usually made with OpenCanvas5 for the recording function it offers, I make the art for this webcomic in Paint Tool SAI 2. I don't plot ahead very far. it's a loose project with a fun plot made as an excuse to give my OC some backstory and remember my artistic roots.

my comic/manga inspirations for this project were FLCL, The Crow, NANA, and the works of Shigenori Soejima and Junji Ito.
